Emil's Petition for Naturalization dated June 23, 1923 said he lived in Moundville Twp., R#1 Endeavor, Wisconsin. He was a farmer, born April 26, 1871 in Posen, Germany. He came to America at the port of New York from Bremen, Germany on May 18, 1888 (name of vessel unknown). He declared his intention to become a citizen of the United States on Nov. 30, 1920 (see Declaration of Intention). The rest of the information about his family is mentioned on his web page.
The people swearing that he lived in the United States continuously since Jan. 1, 1910 were C. R. Roskie (Register of Deeds) and Chas. W. Gay (County Clerk), both residents of Montello. |
