Our father Johann Michael Tagatz (Johann is abbreviated) was born in 1843 on the 15th of September.

Our first mother Emilie Otilie Sievert was born on the 4th of February 1849.

Their son Martin Johann Tagatz was born August 20, 1867.

Their second son Friedrich Wilhelm Tagatz was born Nov. 21, 1868. [Go to Fred Tagatz's web page for information about his family.

Their daughter Wilhelmina Pauline Tagatz was born July 6, 1870. [Her first name was spelled Wilhamine in the Bible. Go to her father's web page to see information about her husband Herman Boeker, their children and their grandchildren. Three of Wilhelmina's grandchildren died on the USS Oklahoma ship in Pearl Harbor.]

Their third son Albert August Tagatz was born August 22, 1872 and died Sept. 17, 1872.
