A Wisconsin Death index record on ancestry.com says that August Carl Kieck died on Nov. 10, 1905, "Maro" County (which may be Marquette Co. since no Maro County exists in Wisconsin). He appeared on the 1900 Census with his wife but not the 1910 Census, so a 1905 death date does not seem unreasonable.
