| The above says Martin Tagert [Tagatz] was born in Prusia [SIC - as spelled] in 1802 and came to the United States through the port of New York in Sept., 1852. Martin appeared before the Clerk of the Circuit Court in Waushara County. This document was signed by Allyn Boardman on Oct. 26, 1852.
