Edith was born Nov. 22, 1930 in Germania, Marquette Co., WI. She graduated from Montello High School and the Central State Teachers College at Stevens Point, Wisconsin. Edith was a third grade teacher at Colby, Wis. She never married and had no children. She died at the age of 20 (Nov.. 29, 1950) of a brain hemorrhage. She is buried in the East Side Cemetery at Westfield, Wisconsin. Her parents were Fred Phillips and Evaline (Tagatz) Phillips.
